HALKBANK a.d. Beograd in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and the Development Agency of Serbia this year also is participating in the Support Program for small enterprises for procurement of equipment, within which it supports the development of domestic economy by lending to micro and small legal entities, entrepreneurs and cooperatives.

The Ministry of Economy set aside about 11,9 milion EUR from the budget for non-refundable loans to business subjects, and HALKBANK a.d. Beograd has continued the long-term tradition and once again is chosen as a reliable associate for the realization of this Program.

The purpose of the funds from the Program is to co-finance the procurement of:

• New equipment directly involved in the production process:

• New production equipment and/or machinery;
• New equipment for transport or manipulation incorporated in production process;
• New parts, specialized tools or other capital goods etc;
• Machinery and equipment for improving energy efficiency and environmental aspects of production.
• New equipment for construction works:
• New Construction machinery for construction operations;

The financial framework for the implementation of the Program includes the following structure in which the grant amounts to 25% of the net value of the equipment (from 500,000 - 5,000,000 dinars), participation of the client 5%, while the remaining 70% of the net value of the equipment to be purchased will be financed by HALKBANK a.d. Beograd.

Clients are exempt from VAT and customs duties.

If the client has more than six employees and the total net value of the equipment to be purchased is higher than 20 million dinars, the user can finance the difference with a larger own participation or increase the credit request with the bank by this amount.

Basic loan conditions:

• grace period 6 months

• no flat fee

• repayment period up to 60 months

• the primary security is the pledge on the purchased equipment
